Amazing home with peaceful lake view & access. House was well stocked & kitchen was so easy to cook in while conversing with family. All 12 of us fit at the dining room table for an early Thanksgiving dinner! So many activities both inside and outside for all the children age 3-19. We loved the easy lake access, kayaks, etc...We hope to return!

We did a family trip with 10 adults and 5 kids and had a great time. On sunny days we stayed outside and enjoyed the lake and beach. But even on rainy days we had fun in the house. Highlights: 1. The house offers a spacious kitchen open to living room. Everyone can be together, cook, and chill together. 2. Also they offer so many toys and games that the kids had a blast to explore everything. 3. Almost every night we gathered around the fire pit with a beautiful view on the lake. Improvements: We didn’t even expect having a Xbox so that’s not a real complaint but some controllers didn’t work well and the Foosball-Table wasn’t installed correctly (3 goal keepers). In the kitchen, there were a lot of fruit flies. Regardless, we still had a great time and would always come back.

The Blue Heron Hideaway was such a great spot for our family vacation. The home itself is beautiful and very well equipped!! We were genuinely amazed at the amount of items in the kitchen, garage, beach - the Blue Heron has it all! This property was beautiful and had lots of amenities that made it work well for our extended family, including several young children. There was plenty of things for everyone to do, lots of space in the kitchen and dining room and pantry. The kitchen, lake area, and toys/games were well stocked. There were plenty of options for high chairs, gates, pack and plays. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay!

Loved the place. Everything as described. New. Private beach front. Highly recommend. Only downside/minor inconvenience - This house is on the private side of the lake. You cannot bring rental boats (around 15 min away) and dock. However, if you plan ahead and weather looks nice, Daniel recommended rental would allow for picking up private rental and can dock at common HOA dock. other than this, highly recommend this place for families.

Had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful Lake Anna home with my extended family. There was plenty of space for everyone and so many options of things to do at the house, even on a rainy day when being in the water wasn’t an option. I have never stayed in a more well equipped home. They literally thought of everything! Aside from groceries, anything I could think of that I would need was already there. There aren’t many nearby restaurant options so we planned to prepare food at the house most of our time there. The kitchen cabinets and drawers are all labeled to help find things and remember where to put them back which made cooking and clean up easy. Would definitely stay again!

This is a really nice and new rental house for families. It was awesome that they had multiple high chairs, a crib, playpen, multiple hatch machines, a bunch of toys in the basement, kid plates and utensils, etc. The only thing that I would have loved are retractable baby gates but you can't have everything :) The house was super clean when we arrived and there were plenty of beach and regular towels for everyone. They had every paper product and cleaning product so you don't need to bring your own which was great. The beach they added was perfect for my toddler son. Overall a great place to stay.

Staying at the Blue Heron Hideaway checked all the boxes for what we were looking for! It was very relaxing, comfortable, spacious and very beautiful throughout. We were so excited that it was just steps away from its own wide sandy beach with kayaks, a canoe, a paddle board and a fun floating dock, allowing our whole family to be together on the lake at same time! We had so many places to relax and enjoy being together, including a large hammock, a fire pit, and lots of big Adirondack chairs all in a row on the beach. Daniel, our host, was very quick to get back with us on any questions we had and very responsive to help and follow up to make sure our stay was everything we hoped for! And it was! It was hard to leave this beautiful home and setting but we are hopeful to enjoy it again soon!

This home & property is exactly as pictured & so much more! The description uses words 'spacious' & 'massive', don't doubt it for one minute! The home is gorgeous & offers so many options to make your time there extra special for everyone! Just choosing where to share family meals was super fun w/so many choices! All easily accommodating 10 ppl! The grands, 6 mts to 10 years were happy at all times w/the variety of indoor & outdoor toys & games! The basement provided much entertainment for the kids & adults! From kitchen items, to beach towels, sound machines to endless baby items, it’s all there! TV on screened porch is a nice touch!! Our host, Daniel was friendly, very informative & quick to answer throughout the whole process. We were even provided w/cell numbers & direct email for emergency communications. They have thought of everything you could possibly want! Kudos to hosts! Spending a week at Blue Heron Hideaway was the best decision & one of the best vacations we've had!

WOW!!!!! Knocked our socks off with the bountiful supplies in the house. Plenty of everything that we needed or even expected with our stay. The place was very well stocked with commodities and necessities alike, providing for those who stayed past the bare minimum. As well as having these and more, it was very well kept and clean. The aesthetics to the home were nice and the furniture had well complimented eaxhother. Being at full capacity was not a worry at all during this trip, a big family along with friends could easily spend their time and sleep here.

Blue Heron Hideaway was a wonderful getaway for our two families. We only left to get groceries and visit the nearby public state park. We could have stayed for weeks watching the sunrise and sunset over the water. The location was perfect in a new, quiet neighborhood. The lawn was large enough for sports in the morning and the driveway was used for roller blading in the afternoons. The house had everything we could have asked for back home. We can't wait to go back....!

The Blue Heron is an absolutely stunning home on the lake in Mineral, Virginia. The home is beautifully furnished, and the amenities are over the top for a rental property. Loads of indoor toys and games for all ages, and water toys galore too. Our grandsons particularly liked the Pac-Man Arcade game in the upstairs den, and the foosball table downstairs. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for all, and baby equipment as well! Although it was March, the kids loved sitting on the sandy beach…summer renters must love it in warmer temps! Fishing right off the beach was so much fun too!Bottom line- this home will not disappoint. The owner is lovely to work with, and you will be hard pressed to find a more comfortable rental.

All I can say is “wow!” This was by far the best Airbnb experience I have had! The house is beautifully decorated, on a beautiful lot over overlooking a beautiful lake. The house is fully stocked! And when I say fully stocked, I mean, they thought of everything! Kids, toys, extra diapers, high chairs, extra linens, and throw blankets. Every kitchen gadget you can think of: air fryer, slow cooker, electric griddle, fully stocked coffee bar! Two nights was not enough and we look forward to going back in the summer and spending at least four days there. The host was super gracious as we experienced a loss in the family after booking this stay. We requested a later date check in and the host graciously accommodated us. I cannot thank Daniel enough for his generosity.

My friend's and I were truly amazed at our stay here. While the pictures are accurate of the house, it is much more beautiful in person. It was spacious with more than enough room to accommodate my group. The kitchen was large and beautiful. Living space gave us the opportunity to comfortably be together and the various video and card games gave us some entertainment in addition to what we brought (highly recommend playing Codenames). Everyone was able to sleep comfortably and I can not reiterate how gorgeous the master bathroom is. The WiFi was a little slow for us but we connected to a hot spot and was still able to watch TV for some down time. The lake itself is beautiful and I can imagine all the activities you can do in the summer time. We even had the ability to build a bonfire while enjoying the outdoor space amidst the cold. I highly recommend staying here, between a kind and responsive host to a beautiful house for a good price, this was a top tier experience for me!

Hands down the best Airbnb I have lived in! Don’t go by the description or the images, because you’ll be surprised how they just don’t do justice to how gorgeous and thoughtful your experience will be! The hosts are exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, the house is fully stocked with everything a family would need. We were a total of 15 people and we were all able to get a bed to sleep in. The amenities are exceptional and you’ll be sad to go back to reality by the end of it!!

We stayed at this beautiful home for 3 days during winter break. The home is beautifully maintained, and the room setup is perfect for families with 2 of the rooms having a King and bunk beds. My family and I just returned from a little slice of heaven! I feel rejuvenated and so relaxed! The pictures didn't do justice on how amazing this place is. It was so spacious that no one was on top of each other. We had enough room to spread our wings. We were able to stretch out because there were more than enough beds, air mattresses, and cribs. The decor is very çhic. The appliances were top of the line. The kitchen is a chef's dream! The pantry was well stocked with all the essentials and even a few goodies. Lake Anna is beautiful, and we were able to go out canoeing on the lake. There was plenty of equipment, including life vests, for all of us to go out together. The porches and outdoor areas were equally comforting and beautiful. In the evenings after dinner, it was game time. There were games provided for all ages. We took full advantage and played well into the wee hours! I've stayed in many Airbnbs, and this is by far the creme-de-la creme. 5 Stars isn't enough.

Beautiful house and location. Would highly recommend for family's with kids (even young kids.) We visited with our 7 month old and 7 year. And the house was very well set up for the kids. They had several cribs, play pens, and high chairs for little, little ones. And they had lots of kid safe plates, cups and silverware in very easy to access areas. So we were able to travel, without having to pack as much as normal due to the amenities provided for kids at this location (including little games and activities for the kids too.)

My family and I absolutely loved our long weekend at Daniel’s home. The house is large, well appointed and extremely clean. We especially loved spending time at the large kitchen island and the patio deck overlooking the lake. All of the water toys you may want are available, including canoes and kayaks. Fish can be caught from shore or using the canoe. The kitchen is well equipped and comes with extensive cooking supplies and table wear. The furniture and beds were super comfortable. Daniel was communicative and responsive. I highly recommend.

This is our second stay at this property. We lived on Lake Anna (33) years ago and came back to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The entire property is stunning and the Lake is amazing. Last time we rented a pontoon boat and had a blast fishing and boating. This time we focused on kayaking and fishing. Launching the kayaks from the property's beach area was a breeze. Already planning return visits during Christmas 2024 and October 2025. Daniel is very responsive and helpful!

We spent four nights in this beautiful lake front home with our children and grandchildren, ages 1, 2 and 4.. Everyone had an amazing time and the lake was perfect for the little ones with the warm, calm water. It was an added benefit to have kayaks, SUP, and the swimming dock. The home is very well stocked to cook for a family of 9 and there was a plethora of indoor and outdoor games. We felt very comfortable and took evening walks with the kids to see the deer. Daniel was very responsive with our questions about bringing our boat. Highly recommend this property.

Our family of 7 stayed at Daniel’s house on Lake Anna, and let me tell you, this place was stocked better than Walmart on Black Friday. Ever wonder what it’s like to cook with every kitchen gadget ever invented? Me neither—but now I know. They had everything from a waffle maker (which my kids mistook for a toy) to two blenders (because one is never enough). And I have never seen so many varieties of coffee. The pantry was so well-stocked, I’m convinced the hosts must have connections with a Costco executive. Need paper towels? There were so many rolls, we could’ve TP’d the entire neighborhood. And there were enough towels to dry off the entire state of Virginia. The house came with kayaks—plural—so we could glide across the lake like we were in a scene from a nature documentary. There were so many indoor and outdoor activities available that we never heard the words, “I’m bored,” during our stay. We’ll definitely be back—if only to see what new amenities and supplies were added.

This home was AMAZING!!!!!! It is a dream home on a lake..... They had every single amenity you could think of. It was VERY clean. Very useable. They were very proactive in communication. Left us a bottle of wine from the local winery. Absolutely could not give a better review for them. Top hosts and top house we've probably ever stayed in. With that said, I would do a little research about Lake Anna in general prior to going. For example, there is a private side versus public side and those water temps are different. This home is on the private side and the water is a bit warmer which we didn't love but not a dealbreaker. We also rented a boat without realizing the public and private are separated by land..... so we all had to drive to the public side to get the boat, but still. So much fun! I'm sure if I had asked the hosts... they would have totally filled us in but I was also not trying to bother them too much! We definitely plan to visit this home again!!

Daniel’s place felt right at home. The home was extremely well stocked and had plenty of extremely helpful baby/toddler amenities like a crib, pack and plays in every room and lots of water toys/life jackets. 4 generations of family enjoyed our stay from beginning to end. Daniel was extremely responsive and gave us insider knowledge prior to our stay when we had concerns about the water itself due to recent news reports. He 100% made us feel comfortable before and during our stay. I’m sure we will be back!

We had a great time at Blue Heron! Daniel was a great host who was super responsive and gave us helpful information on boat/jet ski rentals as well as local stores in the area. The house is full of entertainment for kids and adults and was just as pictured. The beach area was perfect for our kids and the house had plenty of outdoor seatings areas to enjoy the views.

The house was amazing and exceeded our expectations! The house was stocked with everything from kitchen supplies to having multiple highchairs, pack and plays, sand toys, water toys, kayaks, chairs, etc. Highly recommend for families of kids of all ages. There is so much for kids to do! We never needed to leave the house. The house literally offers everything you need for a great vacation. Location is perfect and in a nice quiet neighborhood. Grocery store is only 10 mins away or so. Daniel is a great communicator/ host and very responsive with any questions you have! Definitely will be booking again!

Wonderful home, fully stocked and very clean! We had plenty of space for our family of 12 and there was so much to do for a wide range of ages. Daniel's lake house exceeded my expectations. Initially, I was nervous about coming to the lake due to recent news reports about the water, so I reached out to Daniel. He was very informative and helpful, which put my worries at ease. The house has access to the private side of Lake Anna, meaning less water traffic—a real bonus since we enjoyed using the kayaks provided by the owners. Typically, I pack essentials for our travels, but I didn't need them here. This house is exceptionally well-stocked with everything you might need. The backyard is where we spent most of our time. There's a small man-made beach that leads to the lake and plenty of trees for shade. I was also impressed by the lack of bugs inside the house, considering its lakefront location. The hosts were very responsive and friendly throughout our stay. We had kids ranging from 4 to 16 years old, and they all loved the place. There is so much to do; we didn't feel the need to venture into town for entertainment.

This is a perfect place to take family and friends on Lake Anna. The house has every amenity you could need and a lot of open space. They had a travel crib, high chair, and lots of baby gear. It's right on the lake with a little beach that's perfect for adult soaking or kid swimming. Daniel was very responsive. Would highly recommend this house and hope to return!

My stay at Daniel's lake house at Lake Anna was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the stunning views and serene environment. The house itself is immaculate, well-maintained, and equipped with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Daniel was an exceptional host, always responsive and attentive to any questions or needs we had. He provided great local recommendations and made sure we felt right at home. The lake house was perfect for both relaxation and fun, with plenty of outdoor space for activities and cozy indoor spaces for unwinding. I particularly enjoyed the easy access to the lake and the private dock, which made for great mornings and evenings spent by the water. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to cook meals, and the bedrooms were comfortable and inviting. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We enjoyed a special birthday at this house pre-season- everything as expected with prompt communication and accommodation of our needs. Beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. A house was being built nearby but noise was not bad. Plenty of room to accommodate a large family, and lots of toys for water fun. I would recommend to others and hopefully return again.

GPS did not recognize the address. There was some construction on the roads to the property which made navigating a little tricky. However, Daniel had provided some directions in one of his emails so I was able to work around that. The house is absolutely stunning and we will be returning!

Our stay here was AMAZING! My family(which is huge) had plenty of room to stay comfortably and there was plenty to do. The generosity of the host in the fully stocked kitchen and the huge variety of water toys was a huge bonus! Honestly, nothing was lacking. Daniel was responsive and helpful and takes great care of the property. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! The private beach was beautiful. The space was so clean and comfortable. It’s a great neighborhood with a decent amount of local things to do but you almost don’t need that because there’s so much to do at the house itself!

We will 100% be staying here again! Not only was the place the best house I’ve ever rented the host was phenomenal! I can’t say enough good things about Daniel and Blue Heron. The house felt like home with the amount of amenities and everything you could ever need as a family with or without children! Daniel himself was so responsive when I had a few questions and went above and beyond to help. The lake front with all the canoes, toys, and life jackets for every size was one of our favorite parts. As well as the games and puzzles for our rainy day inside. Everything was clean and the beds were so comfortable! Loved the layout for multiple families to stay at once SUPER comfortably. Can’t wait to come back!!!

We could not have asked for a better host, home, or location for our spring break trip. Daniel was super responsive and helpful and the house was stocked with everything we could need - from oil, spices, and tons of coffee pods in the pantry to a high chair, pack n play, and lots of books and toys for the littles to play with. The house also offers a dozen different life vests so our group of 8 could go out on the water in kayaks feeling safe and secure the whole time. The house has a private beach where our kids could play and a small fire pit so we could roast s'mores at night. Even though we went in late March and the temps were in the 50s, the water was warm enough to play in. The house is a 20 minute ride from Lake Anna State Park so we were also able to go on some family hikes and there are wineries and breweries close by as well. If you are looking for a quiet escape from your fast paced life, stay at Blue Heron Hideaway! You won't regret it.

Daniel’s place was the perfect peaceful getaway with friends. We arrived and were blown away by this beautiful home! The illuminated driveway safely guides you to the front door, then you walk through the front door into an open oasis on the lake. The lake is visible through floor to ceiling windows and doors from every angle of the house and the kitchen and great room with fireplace are elegant and cozy. The weather was perfect and we were able to enjoy the outdoor spaces. Daniel has the kitchen and pantry stocked to the point that we really didn’t need to purchase anything except what we needed for meals, all of the utensils, spices, and hardware was already provided. We have found a great getaway spot for future family gatherings

The Blue Heron Hideaway exceeded our expectations and was even more amazing in person! The home is absolutely beautiful, the property and lakefront are stunning! One unexpected bonus was how well stocked the kitchen and entire home was…there was literally everything there to enjoy a wonderful vacation! We felt right at home in so many ways. The house truly lives up to ALL its hype. It's a stunning house with tons of activities for kids and family. The house is so beautifully decorated and kept extremely clean. Dan/Zach were very responsive to every inquiry I had, and super friendly. We especially loved how kid friendly the house was for my toddler (crib, pack n play, high chair, bibs, kid utensils, toys) so we didn't have to worry about packing our entire house to bring there! I only wish that it didn't rain so that we could have enjoyed the outdoor amenities (fire pit, beach, lawn games, etc). However, we were pleasantly surprised at how much there was to do INSIDE the house while we were rained out for the majority of the time there. My family loved the memories we made there during our short weekend getaway and everyone is already talking about coming back. Thank you Dan!

I’m gonna be 100% honest. This is the BEST hosting I’ve been too. Let me get started. We arrived at the destination and the pictures matched the photos. The rooms were spacious and there was so much amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. We honestly didn’t even need to bring anything. The host was understanding of our late check out time and the views were amazing. Daniel recommended some nearby stores that we can go to to get things and the house was just honestly such a vibe. We were looking for a large space to house a group of friends, cook some epic meals, and enjoy each other's company. Immediately when I booked the place, Daniel was in communication with us and asked what could be done to accommodate our group. He responded to messages very quickly and with great information. Check in was a breeze with the keypad lock. The listing was very accurate in what was provided. Our group loved everything about the house. Especially the kitchen that is stocked. The coffee and tea bar with wine fridge was a nice touch for our coffee drinkers. The outdoor space was beautiful and would really be wonderful during warmer months. The basement has great activities for children and did a good job of entertaining them while adults were cooking or engaged in different activities. There's so much that was wonderful about this place that it can't fit here. I highly recommend this place.

Danials home at Lake Anna was excellent! The pictures didn't do justice for the property. It was bigger in person. We came for my daughter's birthday and thay had a blast. Anything we could think about they had it. I forgot marshmallow roasting sticks they had some, I forgot my waffle maker they had one, we forgot our lighter they had one, plus games gallour! Also what was amazing to me is I have a 19 month baby and I remember thinking it would have been nice if I could have brought his crib. THEY HAD ONE!!!!!! If your looking for grade A stay this is the place. To top it all off Danial was very kind and understanding when I had to make a change to my guest number. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay and God willing we will be back. Just go see for yourself!

This was a great getaway weekend and the whole group enjoyed our stay! The house is pretty spacious and there was everything that we needed in terms of kitchen supplies, blankets, pillows, air mattresses, and linens. Daniel was responsive and friendly. His home was as pictured, stocked very well with coffee, tea, even some creamer (which we forgot to bring), including plenty of back-stock for the household essentials (ranging from trash bags, to more coffee pods, dish and laundry detergents, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, cotton swabs, sponges, etc., so you didn’t have to worry about running out during your stay! Blue heron was also loaded with fun family entertainment (board and garden games, tv services, etc.) and there was plenty of cut firewood prepared outdoors for cold night bonfires. The lake was gorgeous, and surprisingly warm! Daniel even had kayaks ready for use on the private beach. We heard a fish jump and saw several herons while exploring the lake. The lake was also nice and private. The home had beautiful views of the lake, and there was decent takeout with a variety of good options around a 20min drive away. Our family of four had a lot of fun and wished our stay was longer!

Daniel's Blue Heron home was perfect! Even with frost and freeze warnings at night, the lake was warm enough to swim in - in November! Daniel provided all the amenities you could want, and SO MANY you can't even think of! The house is well stocked in every area. We enjoyed lake views on the deck, gathered around the fire pit, and some of us jumped off the huge floating dock. We paddled across the lake in canoes and kayaks, and tried our hands at paddleboarding and fishing. The kids built sandcastles on the private beach, and we even set up our pickleball set in the massive paved driveway! We enjoyed so many firsts, and we will definitely be booking again in the future! Thanks for making it a memorable trip!

We drove down from PA. The weather was great and the lake water was very warm! We ate way to much good food and watch the Hobbit Trilogy with the kids! Highlight of the trip was that we all swam across the lake from ages 9 - 59! Was a great time and are hopefully looking forward to returning soon!

We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday with friends and family! The house has plenty of room, is well-maintained, and located just off the water. There are all sorts of toys, games, canoes, and outside activities, but there is also plenty to do inside on those rainy days. Would definitely recommend this house for special occasions or when you just want a weekend to get away. The owner was also very flexible with us in order to accommodate a few things with our guests.

I’ve never stayed at a rental with as many items available for use! Kitchen gear for babies and adults. SO many fun lake items and toys available. They even had corn on the cob holders!

Such a beautiful house in a great location. There is something to do for all ages. Enough rooms to have the entire family. My trip was centered around local golf courses but you could spend the entire time in the house or by the beach and have something to do for day! I would come back again for sure.

Daniel's lake house is beautifully appointed and the most well stocked airbnb we've ever stayed in. They have literally thought of everything one might need. We forgot to bring our sound machine but found one in every bedroom! There were so many indoor and outdoor toys for the children to play with that kept them entertained for days. The kayaks and water toys provided were so much fun! The kids loved playing in the sand. We enjoyed bonfires and dinners out on the porch. It rained a ton over our trip, but there was plenty of space for our large extended family (4 generations!) to spread out and convene. We did find a tick on one of the children one day, but if you forget bug spray they have you covered. The beds were comfortable and the kids loved the bunk beds. There was plenty of room for all of us. Overall, we really enjoyed our time at this lake house. Thanks again!

This place looks exactly as pictured! The house was clean, AMAZINGLY stocked and oh so cozy! We felt right at home. We had an amazing time at the lake especially with the endless amount of toys for the beach AND inside the house. We especially appreciated the privacy of the beach/lake. It was all ours to enjoy. What a wonderful house! Our group of 13 had a great time enjoying Lake Anna and all the home included. There were activities for the kids, relaxing spaces and views for the adults, and plenty of room to spread out. The house had everything we needed and more, and Daniel was very accommodating and helpful with all of our questions. The kitchen was easy to cook in, and the coffee pods were such a nice bonus. I especially appreciated the comfortable beds with soft bedding!

Daniel's place was one of our families most favorite destinations on Airbnb so far. The house matched all the photos for accuracy and cleanliness. The host was always around to assist with the house and give advice on local things to do. The garage was full of activities if you didn't want to leave the house. The selection on coffee's and tea's were excellent for breakfast or a pick me up. If there was something our whole family agreed on, it would be the above excellent experience we all had at Daniel's home.

Daniel’s place was absolutely gorgeous. We completely enjoyed our stay and spent lots of time outside at the lake and playing games in the yard. Our teenagers loved all the water toys and the canoes/kayaks/paddle board. And all the extras that Daniel has provided is most impressive. Kitchen is beautiful and spacious… definitely felt luxurious to us! Overall it was an amazing time in an amazing house. We hope to be back!!

One of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed in! Beautiful, brand new house. Gorgeous lake. Great for relaxing and active fun. What really sets this place apart is how unbelievably well-stocked it is. Whether you’re here for a getaway or with a gaggle of kids like us, you will find everything you could need. There are high-end items like pour over coffee supplies, as well as a garage full of canoes, lifejackets, toys, books, so many games and toys to keep the kids busy and happy while you relax! They have truly thought of everything - there’s even bibs for small ones! And the beds are comfy. We plan to be back!

Absolutely the best stay at an Airbnb we’ve ever had. The house is just as pictured, almost felt unreal. Daniel is so responsive and helpful on all fronts! Not only is this house so thoughtfully stocked- when I asked about a particular item he had it on the door step in 2 days. Remarkable. As a mom I cannot express how much I enjoyed the thoughtfulness of a well stocked house! If we weren’t in DC for the day sight seeing (a short 2 hr drive) we were enjoying the serenity of Lake Anna and the private beach in the back yard- breath taking!! I’m already looking for reasons to come back to Daniel’s place! Thanks again Daniel. Impeccable stay!

Great place for a group, came very well stocked and had no issues with appliances, etc. A lot of space including a big kitchen. The guest wifi was a little spotty but there were multiple networks available so did not turn out to be an issue. Highly recommend!

Daniel our host was very responsive and helpful. His place is very well equipped from the generous coffee bar to the whole garage full of beach and lake toys. Home has a great open floor plan with a huge kitchen and many windows to enjoy the fabulous view of the lake and private beach. The neighborhood has many new homes and a nice private dock and boat launch. The overall area is very rural and you will need to drive some to get to restaurants and other activities. Overall Daniel’s place is fabulous and he strives to give you a five star experience. We would definitely back.

This home was better than advertised....very roomy, pristine lake views, great kitchen w/ HUGE island, everything is new, very clean, extremely well- provisioned, abundant parking area for multiple cars. Our host, Daniel, could not have been more accommodating or easy to communicate with. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we will definitely be going back. I hesitate to write this review for selfish reasons, because this home is going to be booked solid once the good word gets around about it.

The pictures looked gorgeous and our stay lived up to it. The house was completely stocked with every kitchen gadget you could ever need. We had an amazing time there! Our group was 4 families: 7 adults and 4 kids. All kids were crazy about the house and wanted to stay there forever. The house was totally gorgeous! Their kitchen had everything! You don't need to bring anything to cook, other than the food materials. They had so many plastic containers and zip locks so it was so convenient for us to store any left over food while staying there. All beds, linens, furniture, blankets, towels were clean and good quality. They had good quality shampoo, conditional, body wash etc. in their bathrooms. The best part was their view!! I bet this house has the best view in this community! There was this cute little beach to the lake in the backyard and our girls had great time playing there with beach toys they found in the garage. We could find absolutely everything we needed for the vacation in this house. All of us are already thinking about finding another time to go back there.

My family and I only had a few days for a small getaway and was looking for something relaxing and easy. This location surpassed anything we could have hoped for. Every detail in the house is geared towards guests and a need they may have. The home itself is gorgeous and i told my husband when we build, i want ours to be just like this one. The view at sunrise and sunset are something I would never get tired of seeing. The host was very helpful and providing answers to any questions I had. This place is phenomenal!!!! The views surrounding the house are stunning. The house itself is a dream home!!!! Everybody had a great time , and our group included a toddler, two teens and the rest were adults : everybody had something they loved about the house ! The way the house flows from The kitchen to huge living room is so welcoming for gatherings ! Although we went during winter season , we still took the kayaks out on the lake , and it was worth it!!!!! We were so excited that the place offered the equipment! There’s not one thing this place has not thought of to meet It’s guests need! Not one ! We want to return during summer season to explore the lake a bit more . We highly recommend this place! Wow what a beautiful week we just had! Daniel had everything that we needed and more. So many things to do even when it was cold outside! An awesome kitchen with all the tools and gadgets! Plenty of games to play and toys for the kids and babies to play with. Moms don't have to over pack to come here! I really appreciated the natural soaps and cleaners they provided. The house, linens, and towels smelled clean and with no over bearing chemical fragrances which is helpful for my sensitive nose! We came during the winter time and had a blast and we would love to come back during the summer to enjoy ALL outdoor summer toys! Thanks Daniel for a lovely weekend!

A large group of my friends rents a cabin every year between Christmas and New Years. This was our first time at this location. The house had incredible amenities and plenty to do if you’re shacking up for a few days like we were. Everyone was able to sleep comfortably and we had plenty of games and activities available. Unfortunately, there was very noisy construction going on next door that was disruptive to our stay. We chose this stay because of the views and privacy so we were disappointed by how close in proximity the noise and construction scene were to us during our time there. Daniel was very communicative the entire stay and it was clear he wanted his renters to have the best experience possible. 5 star communication on his part. My friends and I agreed this wasn’t the remote and rugged cabin experience we were hoping for, but we had fun just being in a space that could comfortably accommodate us all. Would be interested to return in the summer to use the lake amenities.

You feel that you are on the lake, the view from the kitchen, living room are stunning. Daniel’s house is gorgeous and spacious. Great layout, very well decorated, had everything we could possibly need during our stay. Easy access, calm community, private, nice appliances and gadgets, everything was functional. Spotless clean, very well supplied, we had a great time. It was freezing cold outside but super nice inside with the big fireplace in the living room. Need to make plans to be there during summer and enjoy the huge deck, fire pit, beach area and the lake. We will recommend this place to anyone seeking comfort and relaxing time right on the lake. Daniel was super attentive, one of the best Airbnb stays we have experienced.

Simply put, we can't wait to stay here again. This is an absolute gem, just a gorgeous house in a wonderfully peaceful and serene setting. We were here in December, but seeing all the water sport equipment available, and the boat dock that is SO close, we would absolutely bring our families back to stay in the summer! This house is impeccably clean, brand new, with absolutely every amenity you could need for a great vacation on Lake Anna. This Lake Anna getaway was the perfect home and location for our family vacation. We enjoyed stunning views of the lake, nature walks, drives around the area, Sunday afternoon football and World Cup games by the indoor gas fireplace and more. We made big home-cooked dinners and were able to find everything we needed and more stocked in their beautiful kitchen. Everything was so clean, organized, spacious, relaxing, and nicely decorated. We had an unforgettable stay!! This home is not only gorgeous but also had complete supplies and lots of activities :) We enjoyed the board games, foosball table, kayaks, and fire pit. There’s also a beach area where we got to swim :) The view of the lake from the living room is amazing! The kitchen is spacious, and we were all able to cook and share our meals together. Thank you for a great weekend!! Blue Heron Hideaway was a wonderful house!! Brand new. Stocked with everything you could ever need and more!!! Very comfortable beds. Plenty of room. The house was wonderful! It was well stocked with any amenity that you might need. The location was perfect and felt private. Daniel was a great host who was very communicative and is a fast responder.

The house was stunning, private, and beautifully decorated. We used the canoes to stroll the lake, rented a boat, and fished. The views of the lake from the deck and shoreline were amazing. Daniel was always available to answer any questions before and during our stay. It was a perfect getaway!

SPECTACULAR stay! I rented the place for my honey to relax after returning from Italy so I could ease her back into the "real world" lol! Daniel's place was the perfect place to stay and she enjoyed it. From the moment you walk in the front door, the view of Lake Anna will pull you all the way to the deck and before you know it you will be relaxing on one of the chairs sipping a glass of Lake Anna wine! He has everything you will need during your stay except your clothes and groceries. There is a plethora of board games and outdoor water sport equipment (for the warm/hot stays). The kitchen is beautiful and you will want to make a gourmet meal just to use the stove. And don't forget the wine because there is a chiller waiting to get your wine at the perfect temperature. I can go on and on so I will stop now but just don't think twice, book now or you will miss out!

Absolutely wonderful! The house was fully stocked with anything you could think to need. The water equipment was in great condition, and the house was situated on the perfect spot on the lake. This house is a perfect weekend waiting to happen - just add guests and some food! Daniel was also very responsive and checked in on us throughout our stay. He even sent over some suggestions of events happening in town and some restaurants to stop by! Cannot recommend enough.

This property was perfect for me and my sisters weekend getaway. The drive in was peaceful and the entrance to the house was beautiful! Such a bright great room with plenty of natural light. The hosts really thought of everything! We watched movies and ate great food from a couple local restaurants. We will definitely be back!

13 of us stayed in this house for a mom’s weekend getaway and had a fantastic time! The house was stocked with everything you can think of. The beds were great and even the bunks were spacious and comfortable! The view is beautiful and the weather was perfect so we were also able to enjoy the water! We would definitely stay here again!!

This house was amazing everything about this house was perfect. Daniel was awesome he answered any questions i had he was always on time with responding back. This house was perfect for me and my family. Clean and the home is beautiful don’t second guest your self with staying. I would book again real soon take it from me you will not be disappointed. Wonderfully responsive and considerate host and a lovely well-stocked house! You can access the water directly from the back or relax indoors in a great room with big windows. I highly recommend this rental. It was great for our family!

Our family had a great time at Blue Heron Hideaway. The house was beautiful and well appointed. The mattresses/sheets were very comfortable and sound spas were a nice touch! Communication with the host was very easy and they were very accommodating.
